In this panel, I'll cover essential materials, the pros and cons of hand sewing vs. machine sewing and when both could/should be applied. I'll teach you beginner-friendly stitches that hold up to wear. I'll teach you how to properly cut and work with faux fur (less mess=less stress). I'll explore different head base options and provide an introduction to patterning your suit pieces. Whether you're just curious or ready to dive into your first build, this panel will have the practical tips, tricks and guidance to help you get started.
